California Supreme Court grants Ehrlich Law Firm's petition to examine scope of the Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act of 1975 (MICRA)

The California Supreme Court grants the Ehrlich Law Firm’s petition for review in a case examining the scope of the Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act of 1975 (MICRA). Specifically, in Gutierrez v. Tostado, No. S283128, the Court agreed to decide whether MICRA’s shortened statute of limitations applied to a case where the plaintiff’s car was rear-ended on the freeway by a negligently-driven ambulance.

The Ehrlich Law Firm’s co-counsel is Jeffrey Ehrlich’s son, Clinton Ehrlich, of the Law Office of Clinton Ehrlich.
