Community Involvement
While the focus of his energy is necessarily in winning cases for his clients, Mr. Ehrlich also seeks to use his skills to serve the community. For this reason, he is proud to serve on the board of directors of Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles (“NLS – LA”). NLS-LA is a 35-attorney law firm with a $10 million annual budget that provides free legal services to low-income residents of Los Angeles County, including the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys, the neighboring communities in the Pomona, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys, and the cities of Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena. Ehrlich served as President of the NLS-LA Board of Directors from 2007 through 2009.
Ehrlich also served as President of the Board of Directors of iPump.org, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides insulin pumps and diabetes-treatment supplies to low-income recipients nationwide. He also served on the Board of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to funding research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
